With the 2025 NECBL Year in Review series down to its final three editions, it’s time to take a look at the Newport Gulls' 2025 season. Coming off back-to-back Fay Vincent Senior Cups, the Gulls posted another strong season, finishing first in the South with a 29-15 record.

Sticking in the north, the next edition of the 2025 NECBL Year in Review series focuses on the Sanford Mainers’ 2025 season. The Mainers finished the 2025 regular season 22-22, second in the North Division. After knocking out the North Adams SteepleCats two games to one in the first round of the playoffs, they were swept by the future champion Keene Swamp Bats in the North Division Finals.

Moving back north to Montpelier, we’ll take a look at the 2025 Vermont Mountaineers season. The Mountaineers finished last season 16-28, tied for last in the North. Vermont had its fair share of All-NECBL representation, with four nominees.
